We Ride Australia is very pleased to announce the 2024 Cycling Luminaries Awards will be held with the support of Deakin University in Melbourne on 27 November 2024.
We invite friends and stakeholders to join us for the drinks and networking event which will be held at Deakin University’s stunning Deakin Downtown, offering the next level of sophistication for the event.
Deakin University is a national leader in physical activity research and their work supports the benefits for all Australians when the choice to ride a bike is easier and more convenient.
Joining finalists to celebrate the 2024 Cycling Luminaries Awards will be national leaders, industry and academic champions for cycling and active travel.
Deakin’s Professor Neil Coffee will launch the Report of WeRide’s RideScore Active Schools program, evaluated after the successful ride to school trial wrapped up on the Sunshine Coast.
Deakin Downtown is located at Level 12, Tower 2, Collins Square at 727 Collins Street in Melbourne and Awards tickets are free but registration is required for entry and security reasons.
The Luminaries Awards build on more than two decades of recognition of the leaders, projects and infrastructure that have made Australia a better place to ride a bike.
