In a first for We Ride Australia, We Ride Australia partnered with Canberra bike retailer and national online site Pushys to host a major party, Velo Soirée, on 10 July.

In addition to the party, over $40,000 of bicycles and accessories, holidays, experiences and memorabilia were sold in a massive online auction that reached its exciting, nail-biting conclusion at 10pm on the night of the party. Topping it all off was one of the most exciting finishes to State of Origin ever witnessed. Guests followed the rugby and auction all live on the massive 24 foot and 18 foot screens set up in Pushys.

We had great support from Pushys and an enormous response from our bike industry partners and beyond and would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the following companies for assisting us in this important fundraising event that ensures we can continue our work.
