Cycling Awards
History
The Australian Cycling Achievement Awards were launched in 2002 to acknowledge, honour and encourage those working in the various fields of promoting cycling, whether directly or indirectly.
Nominations are called for from across Australia, and an independent expert panel of judges chooses the winners; their job gets harder each year, as the quality as well as the quantity of nominations grows!
The categories have been fine tuned over the years, with professional and voluntary work now jointly recognised and a range of supporting organisations providing support to the various Award categories in this time.
Over the years we have celebrated nominees and winners with the publication of booklets and posters that relate their stories.
These booklets are available to download below, and also reflect the hard work of those who worked to compile the nominations, judge the awards and produce the results.
